Public Administration Week 2025 Concludes at NUM with Meaningful Dialogue, Research, and Recognition

The Department of Public Administration at the School of Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration, National University of Mongolia, successfully concluded the Public Administration Week 2025, held from 6 to 13 October 2025.

The week coincided with the Nobel Prize announcements — a timely reminder of the value of knowledge, integrity, and public service that also lies at the heart of public administration.

Throughout the week, a series of major academic and professional events highlighted the department’s commitment to advancing research, dialogue, and collaboration in governance and public management.

Mr. Boris Dolgonos’ presentation at the UB Impulse XXIV Public Lecture and Discussion Series brought together leading experts to discuss quality growth and key challenges in management of critical minerals.

This was followed by the NUM Leadership XIV International Conference: Capacity Development for Transformation, where national and international scholars examined the future of public administration, the key challenges and solutions.

A highlight of the conference was the launch of the book Public Policy, showcasing the department’s latest scholarly contributions to the study and practice of public administration.

Several other events and activities also took place during the week, reflecting the department’s active engagement with students, researchers, and practitioners.

The week concluded with the Best Paper Awards, an annual tradition initiated and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. John Duffy, Doctor Honoris Causa of the National University of Mongolia, to recognize outstanding student research.

The Department of Public Administration expresses its sincere appreciation to all the scholars, students, participants and partners who contributed to the success of Public Administration Week 2025.

On behalf of the department, we thank everyone for their active participation and wish them continued success in their academic and professional endeavours.
