In 1969, he was awarded a scholarship by the Salzburg Summer Academy where he studied painting with Emilio Vedova.From this period onwards, Mevlana and his doctrines became a part of his art. He produced works in many mediums such as painting, collage, pattern and sculpture. The “insects” İnan began drawing in this period became the artist's trademark.
