An exquisite little purse!The soft maroon body was created using a technique called tatting. stunning workmanship. The only mark is Pat March 90 which is for a patent in 1890, making this little purse over 120 years old.The repousse silver plated hinged lid measures 2 1/8 inches (53mm) in diameter.The front button releases the lid, and works well.
