He was the recipient of two State Scholastic Art Awards in Michigan and Ohio, and received two art scholarships. Alex attended The Detroit Institute of Art, the Cincinnati Art Academy, William E. Gebhardt School of Art, and the University of Cincinnati.Alex's career in commercial art gave him the opportunity to work for companies such as Proctor & Gamble, General Electric, and Midwest Nautilus, Inc.
