More information about Early 20th Century Framed Photograph of Train Derailment
Pictured is a train wreck, a derailment, with women in fancy hats and dresses standing off from the wreckage. Men, too, dressed in their finest away from the wreckage while certain other men, perhaps railroad workers, are examining the debris.
I found this piece while out on one of my hunts. It came framed with no glass, and for the years I have had it displayed, I not once felt appreciate it needed a glass replacement.
This piece has the words, photo by Fraser at the bottom. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what city, state, or country this took place in, but someone felt the importance of capturing the moment. I imagine whoever framed this either was around when it happened, loved trains, or just loved vintage and history like I do.
It measures 12 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It is tattered and torn and stained and worn. Imperfect antique piece of history.
It can be hung or propped up fancy I have done.
