Blood Roses is a richly layered composition, opening with the earthy mystery of overgrown moss bedecked with the velvety darkness of black roses. A slightly metallic and realistic blood accord pulses through the dark florals under smoldering traces of gunsmoke.
On the drydown, traces of myrrh add a slight resinous depth, while a pop of black pepper cuts through the darkness to add a bit of tension. It settles into the olfactory equivalent of the color crimson -velvety, rich dark roses drenched in blood. Fans of Sanguenta will find glimpses of it in this fragrance!
