You're looking at a skein of Baah La Jolla's Club of the Month, from October 2017! It has been one of the gems in my collection, but it deserves to be loved even more!
Fiber content: 100% Superwash Merino
Yardage/Weight: 400 yards / 115 grams
Gauge: 30 sts = 4 inches
Recommended Needles: US 0–2
Care: Machine wash cold water
Hand-dyed in the USA
Color Description: The base is a creamy off-white or incredibly light ivory, with layered speckling and variegation. The dye work creates vivid visual textures featuring fiery russets and oranges – ranging from burnt sienna to bright flame. Deep navy blues and muted="" purples give it a really lovely contrast, adding depth and a pop of cool contrast. Subtle speckles of gold, indigo, and teal are scattered throughout for visual interest. Occasional areas of undyed cream maintain contrast and space between speckled or painted zones.
The overall vibe is autumnal and richly toasty, with just enough cool tones to balance it out. It would knit
