Set of two charming Bastine Pottery - 1 bowl and 1 votive/toothpick holder from 1989, made in Indiana and finished in a striking blue spongeware pattern. These hand-thrown items are a excellent example of traditional Midwestern stoneware craftsmanship
Votive/toothpick holder was used as a votive by the previous owner. There is wax residue at the top on the inside that can be cleaned out.
Bowl is 4.5” in diameter and in terrific condition.
