More information about Vintage Arnel’s Mushroom Casserole Dish

a vintage Arnel's Mushroom Casserole Dish.
About Arnel's Pottery:
Arnel's Pottery started in 1953 in Beaverton, Oregon, specializing in high-quality ceramic molds and finished ceramics.
Their highly recognizable pieces are the "Arnel's Mushrooms," especially the canister sets.
They also sold unfinished ceramics (bisque) to hobbyists, craft stores, and companies who would then glaze and sell the finished products.
While the company's current status is unclear, their molds are still available from various ceramic suppliers.
Identifying Arnel's Pieces:
Arnel's pottery can be identified by the inscribed "Arnel's" mark, usually found on the bottom of the piece.
They are also known for their lid knobs, often featuring three standing mushrooms.
a few pieces may have a flat mushroom on the lid, similar to the "Merry Mushrooms" style.
Artists sometimes add their initials and the date to the pieces.
