stunning Antique Victoria Carlsbad Austria Schmidt & Co. Porcelain Card Holder, Mucilage and stamp box (without lid) with gold accents. Includes a trinket box, a decorative stand, and a lidded jar. Porcelain mucilage jar made by the Victoria Porcelain Factory, Carlsbad, Austria, ca 1898 - 1918.
exceptional piece that is part of a desk set, this mucilage jar has the original brush attached to the lid. The jar and the card holder is hand painted with cherubs and gold accents. The jar measures 4.25" tall to the finial. Mucilage is an adhesive liquid derived from plant gum. The card holder is 4” tall 3.75” wide. The stamp box is 3.5” by 1.75” by 1.25”. All 3 pieces are in remarkable condition for their age with no breaks or chips.
