More information about GIANT BANANA TREE( MUSA INGENS)

This is a rare and special Giant Banana Tree (MUSA INGENS) thati known as the largest one of its species. It is a fast-growing, evergreen plant that produces large plantains( given that the climate has 9 consecutive months of frost free weather) with a yellow and green color. The tree is cold hardy in northern regions making it a excellent perennial choice for those in the colder climates. The tree shipped will be 2-3ft tall and grows rapidly once established. To get a better idea of how large this tree actually is you can compare it to the flagpole in the photos which is 50ft tall and the leaves you can compare to the 5 gallon size bucket displayed beside it in the photo. This Banana tree is well over 50 ft tall destined to portray a tropical paradise right in your backyard garden today! Limited supply !

The soil type is peat and the plant requires heavy watering. It is a fabulous addition to any plant collection and is flawless for summer seasons of interest.
