Хүний эрх бол тогтвортой хөгжлийн үндэс суурь юм. Тогтвортой хөгжлийн зорилгыг хэрэгжүүлэхийн тулд хүний эрх, хүний хөгжлийн асуудлыг нэн тэргүүнд тавьдаг.
Өнөөдөр, НҮБ-ын Суурин зохицуулагч Тапан Мишра МУИС – Олон Улсын Харилцаа, Нийтийн Удирдлагын Сургууль-ийн багш, оюутнуудтай хүний хөгжил, хүний эрх болон Тогтвортой хөгжлийн зорилгуудын талаар ярилцлаа.
Тэрбээр, Монгол Улсын иргэн бүр өөрсдийн нөөц боломжийг бүрэн дүүрэн ашиглаж, хүний эрхэд суурилсан хүртээмжтэй хөгжлийн үр шимийг бүх нийтээрээ хүртэхийн тулд оюунлаг залуу үеийн манлайлал, оролцоо чухал болохыг онцлоод, сайн сайхан ирээдүйг цогцлоохын тулд өөрчлөлтийн түүчээлэгчид байхыг уриаллаа.

UN Resident Coordinator had a lecture at the School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia
The UN puts human rights at the front and centre of human development and sees it as the foundation to achieving SDGs. Today, UN Resident Coordinator Tapan Mishra had an opportunity to engage with the teachers and students majoring in international relations and public administration at the МУИС – Олон Улсын Харилцаа, Нийтийн Удирдлагын Сургууль on the wider topics of #SDGs including human development and human rights.
In his lecture at the SIRPA and conversation with the teachers and students, he emphasized that the bright-minded and young generation is the key driver to making the change in the country to achieve high human development, ensuring that everyone realizes their full human potential and benefits from inclusive and right-based social services.
His message was clear and loud that it is impossible to achieve inclusive and sustainable development without ensuring fundamental human rights. Therefore, the UNRC called the students to be changemakers and actively contribute to building a sustainable future!
