NUM LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The School for International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia is organizing  the NUM Leadership Conference – Capacity Development for Transformation for the third time in cooperation with the `Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit’ (GIZ) and the German Research Institute for Public Administration Speyer.
The NUM Leadership Conference – Capacity Development for Transformation “The future of Civil Service employment and Human Resource Development for Public Administration” will take place at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Tuushin hotel, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, starting at 8.45 a.m. on 20th October 2015.

Our invited guests include:

  • Prof. Dr. Jan Ziekow, Director of the German Research Institute for Public Administration, Speyer, Germany –Keynote speaker;
  • Prof. Dr. Burmaa Natsag, School of International Relations and Public Administration, NUM, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Head Organizer of the NUM Leadership Conference;
  • Dr. Dr. h.c. Stefan Hanselmann, Director of the Integrated Mineral Resource Initiative (IMRI), GIZ, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia;
  • Prof. Dr. Hiroko Kudo, Professor in Public Policy and Management Faculty of Law, Chuo University, Japan
  • Associate Prof. Dr. Thuy Tran Thi Thanh, Institute for Public Leadership and Policy, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Hanoi, Vietnam

The participants for this event will be comprised of members of the National University of Mongolia and guests from the administration, ministries, and government agencies and other universities.

The conference will entail a plenary session with speeches from our invited speakers in the morning, three different work streams after our lunch break and a panel discussion in the afternoon. We hope that the NUM Leadership Conference will be an interesting platform for topics of public administration and capacity development and will serve as a stimulating exchange among conference participants and our invited speakers.
