A graduate of the 2001 BA and 2007 MA degree Mr. M.Batbold (a senior advisor, foreign relations at the parliament secretariat) and Ms. Ts.Azbayar, a 2002 BA and 2004 MA degree graduate (resident in Chicago, USA) of the International relations program of the School of Political Studies, International Relations, and Social Sciences of the National University of Mongolia have donated some professional textbooks to their former school to add references and help training and research needs of the institute and to contribute increasing the knowledge and skills of younger students.

Ms. S.Oyunsuren, the Head of the Department of International Relations, expressed her gratitude for the books and handed over to the Student Research Center. The event was attended by a classmate of the two donors Ms. D.Budsuren, a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations.

These books cover the themes on the international relations theory and its contemporary trends, US security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, the struggle and conflict between great powers, China's influence in the world, and historical themes of Northeast Asia and the Korean Peninsula.

George Callendar, who wrote the book “Human-Animal Relations and the Hunt in Korea and North East Asia,” which tells the history of the Mongol Empire, was a visiting professor at the Department of International Relations at the very School of Political Studies, International Relations, and Social Sciences of the National University of Mongolia in between the 2002 to 2004. He is a professor in the Department of History at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University in New York, USA, and an expert in Mongolian-Korean relations and history.

УТСОУХНУС-ийн олон улсын харилцааны хөтөлбөрийн 2001 оны бакалавр, 2007 оны магистрын түвшиний төгсөгч, УИХ-ын Тамгын газрын Гадаад харилцааны газрын ахлах зөвлөх М.Батболд, мөн тус хөтөлбөрийн 2002 оны бакалаврын төгсөгч, 2004 оны магистрын түвшиний төгсөгч Ц.Азбаяр (АНУ-ын Чикаго хотод ажиллаж амьдарч буй) нар сургуулийнхаа сургалт, судалгааны хэрэгцээ, оюутан залуусын мэдлэг, чадварыг нэмэгдүүлэхэд нэмэр хандив болох үүднээс зарим нэг мэргэжлийн чиглэлийн ном, нэг сэдэвт бүтээлийг тус сургуулийн ОУХ-ны тэнхимийн эрхлэгч С.Оюунсүрэнд хүлээлгэн өгөх үйл ажиллагаа болов. Уг үйл ажиллагаанд дээрх хоёр төгсөгчийн ангийн анд, ОУХ-ны тэнхимийн ахлах багш Д.Бүдсүрэн байлцав. Эдгээр номууд нь агуулгын хувьд олон улсын харилцааны онол, түүний орчин үеийн чиг хандлага, АНУ-ын Энэтхэг Номхон далайн бүс нутаг дахь аюулгүй байдлын хамтын ажиллагаа, их гүрнүүдийн тэмцэл, зөрчил мөргөлдөөн, БНХАУ-ын дэлхийд үзүүлэх нөлөө, Жорж Каллендарын ЗХА дахь Солонгосын эрэл хайгуул, хүн-амьтаны харилцаа зэрэг өргөн хүрээг хамарч байгаа юм. Дашрамд дурдахад Жорж Каллендар нь ОУХС-д 2002-2004 онд ОУХ-ны тэнхимд багшилж байсан, АНУ-ын Нью-Йорк дахь Сиракусын их сургуулийн харьяа Максвелл сургуулийн түүхийн тэнхимийн Профессор, Монгол, Солонгосын харилцаа, түүхийн чиглэлээр мэргэжсэн эксперт юм.
